JAZZ – exam classes
Intro 1 / 2 / 3 Jazz
*DFX lace leotard, *DFX bike shorts, black ankle socks. Black ballet crossover/wrap optional in class (not allowed for the exam). Hair tied back in a bun or a tidy ponytail to keep it off the face for turning and isolations. Boys plain black bike shorts & DFX muscle back singlet.

BBO Introduction to Ballet, Pre-Primary & Primary Ballet
BBO Pink leotard with attached skirt, pink ballet socks, pink leather ballet shoes with elastics, hair to be in a tidy bun. Pink ballet crossover wrap optional during class (not allowed for exam).
BBO Grade 1 / 2/ 3 / 4 / 5 Ballet
BBO Navy leotard, pink ballet stockings, pink leather ballet shoes with elastics, hair to be in a tidy bun, ballet stockings should be worn all year round. Black ballet crossover wrap optional during class (not allowed for exam).
BBO Grade 6 / 7 & Intermediate Foundation / Intermediate / Advanced Ballet
BBO Black leotard, pink ballet stockings, pink leather ballet shoes with elastics (Interm/Found, Intermediate & Advanced 1/2 also require pointe shoes with ribbons), hair to be in a bun, ballet stockings should be worn all year round. Black ballet crossover wrap optional during class (not allowed for actual exam).
HIP HOP – exam classes
Hip Hop RBM Levels 3 / 4 / 5
DFX Black Hip Hop Tee, DFX Hip Hop shorts, plain black, white or black and white sneakers with non-marking soles, not to be worn outside.
Hip Hop RBM Levels 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10
DFX Black Hip Hop Tee, DFX black trackpants (students own plain black shorts may be worn in terms 1 & 4), plain black, white or black and white sneakers with non-marking soles, not to be worn outside.
CONTEMPORARY - OPEN AND EXAM CLASSES

Acro classes all levels – *DFX black racer back leotard, *DFX bike shorts (5-7yr Acro students that are also in an exam jazz class may wear the *DFX black lace leotard & *DFX bike shorts) Boys plain black bike shorts & DFX muscle back singlet.

Musical Theatre – mufti clothing, black jazz shoes
Beginner ballet classes – mufti close fitting clothing, ballet shoes compulsory (we sell at DFX)
Beginner jazz classes – mufti close fitting clothing, ankle socks (we sell at DFX)
Junior jazz classes (8-11yrs) – DFX black leotard or DFX muscle back singlet (or students own black/navy leotard), DFX bike shorts or plain black/navy bike shorts or plain black leggings, black jazz shoes (black ankle socks optional)
Hip hop open (5-7yr, 8-10yr, 11yr+) classes – mufti clothing, footwear required plain black, white or black and white canvas lace-up shoes.
Pre-school classes – DFX Dance 2.5yrs, 3yrs & 4yrs
Mufti clothing, bare feet or fairy shoes (we sell at DFX) optional

We also have a range of dance wear & other DFX items available which can be purchased throughout the year.
We have limited stock of all uniform items (except pointe, hip hop & tap shoes) in our studio reception and have samples of all sizes to try on and order from. We recommend you order early to ensure you have your uniform from the start of the dance year.
