Madison Pratt – Jazz
Madi joined DFX at 7 years old starting with an open hip hop class. Over the years this progressed into taking classes in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Acro, Musical theater, Tap, PBT, IDT and Exam Hip Hop classes. Madi’s achieved high exam marks in all dance styles and has consistently featured in the top 3 exam results for Jazz and Hip Hop. In 2021 she received the highest mark in NZ for her AJDA Jazz exam.
Madi became a member of the DFX troupes at 9 years old. Solos in all genres followed after. A highlight was representing DFX at dance nationals/ PACANZ alongside her Jazz troupe in 2023 and receiving DFX Senior Dancer of the Year.
Before becoming an Assistant Dance Teacher, Madi was a Dance Step student teacher, where she enjoyed volunteering in junior classes, helping at the dance shows and beginning choreography for junior dancers.
Madi is assisting Jazz exam classes this year and she cannot wait to share her love for dance with the students here at DFX.
